Operation
The Belt Fine Screen with filtering band is used to screen sewage water entering the purification plant, and is normally installed in channels.It is composed of a set of filtering components moved against the stream by two chains equipped with chain stretcher, and anti-friction and anti-noise sliding blocks.
The material gathered by the filtering surface is conveyed to the highest point of the machine where the discharging hopper is placed. The filtering components are cleaned by a motorized roller brush equipped with synthetic bristles and with a washing system composed of spray nozzles. The chains are moved by ring gears keyed to the gear box and equipped with a torque limit switch (excluded from the supply).
